anyone run a turnkey type site? I am considering buying a site which generates it's income through an affilliate program. Just wondering what kind of success people have had with this type of program
I myself havent tried it. However, if you created the sites in your sig yourself, and are a little handy with e.g. php/mysql i would just find a affiliate program with a product feed, let some articles be written, and build it yourself. It is certainly cheaper, and more satisfying, and guaranteed that not some one has got the exact same site. Turnkey sites are just non promoted sites with an affilate stream. Now that is the easy part of the whole game to set up. Just my 2 cents Cheers Bas
I have had some success with datafeeds, but i am not focusing on quality content sites, since they are a long-term investment.
We set up turnkey websites for people (or at the least make it very simple for them to set up low maintenance affiliate websites). Affiliate sites can be very profitable it really does depend on the industry and your traffic.
