how does this happen for your webmasters other there? do you just wait and keep your fingures crossed? i am wondering this as i run a small cj site and i do manage to get about 3 clicks for every 10 visitors. but the question is how do i turn these clicks into sales? i am using the ebay affiliate and i received my cheques as always from last month. i just want to bulk up the sales for one of my sites.

    ideas?

    thanks in advance.

Ideas? Get more traffic! You have a failrly good CTR for a cj site. Try to increase the traffic and see the results. No other shortcuts, IMO.

traffic, but keep it targeted. there are ways to get traffic (e.g. stumble) but mostly useless.

The best traffic is targeted traffic.
The best targeted traffic is organic traffic or PPC campaign.

    That is called SEO... :)

There is a main forum for this in DP. Read that forum thoroughly.

#1 piece of advise I can give you. Target internet traffic to users that are ready and willing to buy.

Work on Pre-sell a little more. Don't just put the "free" stuff out there. Also tell them how much it will be after the "free stuff".

How to convert "browsing mood" to "I am ready to buy mood" is very important. If that make sense to you.

Concentrate more on traffic. Keep your site targeted to the niche.

Ensure that your profit elements are clearly visible. It's only when the eyeballs roll around your profit elements, your CTR increases.

These two things should do the trick. However this is just a top level explanation. When it comes to actual implementation, there is a lot more involved in it.

SEO needs time and efford. And it is cheap. PPC is faster and and more expansive.
If you can afford spending hours on search engine optimization(SEO) than that is the path to stick to. Mosly often it is used for a content sites. If you want to sell - I believe you need to choose a Pay-Per- Click affiliate program. Take time to shop around. Sometimes small or middle size companies offer better deals for a webmaster .

I don't just put up a banner. I set up complete site around CJ product lines. check out
www.garden-facts.com as an example of one of my sites.

People find these sites that are looking to buy something. The result is I get more sales per click.
