turning server into ISP

    hello!!

    is it possible to turn a dedicated server into a ISP?
    I only ask becuase here: http://www.hippo-hosting.co.uk/broadband.html they appear to be a small time host, with a dedicated server.

    so I am wondering if they have a way to use their server as a ISP

    You could turn it into a dial up server, thats about it, as far as broadband it wouldnt work. You could apply with local DSL and cable company and try to be a reseller to get the service cheap.

    I agree with grk519, no way to do it if you dont have deal with a local ISP.
