Turning info into cash?

    I have the opportunity to acquire a site where people fill in there spending habits, gas, electric, credit card bills etc... and their email address.
    How can I turn this kind of information into cash? Could I get money for referring them to price comparison sites etc?

    It sounds like the kind of information that survey companies would be interested in having. Are you disclosing to the people that visit your website that you are gathering information about them to be sold to these companies and for these purposes? To my knowledge you need to make that very clear.

    It's not my site..... yet!
    As far as I can gather, the site collects all this info, and it is stored on a database, over 7000 so far.

    This information can be worth quite a bit, if you use it wisely.
    Many companies would want to get their hands on this database when it grows much bigger in the future - think about that.
