Hello, I've just turned my blog: Free PSDs & Resources for Web Designers to a dofollow blog. Which means if you comment in any post and fill the website's field you will get a free dofollow backlink. The thing is, would it affect my PR to drop or something? Cheers,
Before doing these steps, you should allow anonymous comments by going to Settings in Blogger and then Comments. You may enable or disable the moderation. You will soon know the importance of moderation, however. Here are the steps to make comments DoFollow: 1. Go to Blogger layout (in new Blogger) and click Edit HTML. 2. Check Expand Widget Templates. 3. Search for ‘NoFollow.’ You will find at least two of them in the code. 4. Remove “rel=â€nofollowâ€â€ from the tag that starts with “<a expr:href='data:comment.authorUrl'†5. The second nofollow attribute is for pingback/trackback URLs (blogs that link to your post and ping it). You may or may not retain these URLs. It’s completely optional. 6. That’s it! Enjoy. Your comment’s title is now ‘DoFollow.’ In old Blogger, you can do this by editing HTML in Template tab. By doing this in Blogger, the comment title will be made DoFollow. But the backlinks will be available only if you comment with Name and URL field enabled. The comment body links will still remain NoFollow. So, you needn’t place any link in the body, just place the required anchor text in the name field, and URL in the URL filed and comment; it will become a DoFollow backlink to your URL.
it can't help me much cause your domain extension is .eu. BTW, Thanks for sharing free psd stuff and resources for designer do follow blog. As a web designer I enjoy it.

i am a new member that's why i can't post links.. as soon as i can i shall make it a hyperlink. Thank You
Thank you very much everyone for your comments I'm glad you liked it and everybody is welcome to comment and get free backlinks. There are some pages which have even PR3, and other pages with PR2 aswell
It sure would affect your PR, not sure about the ranking though. In turn you can also ask for dofollow links back to your blog I was wondering.
Follow the above, good site. And good step in making your blog dofollow, keep your eye out for spammers that will advertise things that are irrelevant in your blog comments as you go up in rank. You want to keep content and replies organic and relevant.
You have to work out the pro's and the cons. The negative is you will be leaking pr juice from that page but pr is not everything. The positive, If you are going to do this only approve comments that are well written and relevant to the topic of your post. Even go as far as only approving comments that expand and enrich your content. Make sure they bring something to the table. This way what you leak in pr juice is compensated by having more quality content for your readers. I read an article a while back by some guy who experimented with one of his sites by totally disregarding everything he had ever known about seo and put 100% of his efforts into pleasing the visitors. He claims that his site has benefited from it.
