For some reason I was simply turned down from yahoo publishing network. My site is just like many many others floating around in the tubes of the internet out there. Www.vidieoh.com or www vidieoh dot com if the link doesn't:cool: work. Its simply a video portal must like any other. Yet they turned me down. Also at the same time I was rejected from the bigger one. By that I am sure you know of whom I speak. Anyone know why?

I think they favor sites with original, textual content.

    As always, IMO

Don't take it personal. The YPN system isn't that great at targeting ads on sites with lots of textual content. So imagine how lousy the targeting would be on a site dedicated to video content.

In all fairness to YPN, I like the program A LOT, and I have no plans of using any other program in the near or distant future. All my sites contain original, textual content, which helps.

    As always, IMO

i tried to get in twice and got turned down both times. i understand i'm canadian but i lived and studied in the US for years and have a valid US SSN as well as a mailing address. when they asked whether i had US SSN or not, i said yes as I do, but got turned down still. waiting for them to come out of beta as depending on adsense 100% is kind of a gamble

You could always reapply with a different site..
Or try some affiliates like mabye commision junction or others.

Don't feel bad, YPN wasn't that great for ME (not to say it doesn't work for others though). Their pay rates dropped like a stone to the point that adsense was out paying them AND outclicking.

YPN guys were very nice (however), to be very honest. When I called to cancel my account, they left it open and simply paypal'd my payment within days... saying I was welcome to reimplement their code anytime and suggested I'd want to soon because major changes were afoot.

Both myself and my ex wife were accepted when they first started. It was rather easy, our site were unique... not the run of the mill crap.

As you say that your site has been turned down by other networks as well so the problem might be with your site .

If you have been rejected try to work more on your site .
