Turn SMF To Social Networking like Facebook

Pls, who can help on how to turn my SMF forum to have features like Facebook (e.g find friends, add friends, personal walls and blogs apart from the main forum, etc)

 

smf has a couple of different blog mods.
theres also a nice list of mods for smf here. have a look and see what you like.

well, upon further reflection, i cannot recommend what to use. if you search blog at smf mod site, theres only 1 there and its rather limited.

if you google zcommunity, they have one but its not very stable. you can try it, it might suit you.

 

Well the portal option for SMF is TinyPortal and I think it has mods available which can serve your purpose, but as a poster above said, the options of turnign SMF into a social net site are pretty limited.

 

if you go with a portal type entry, simple portal is as good as tiny portal and your not limited on theme use.
tiny portal requires you use their themes, simple portal uses any smf theme, and its free of course.

 

Try "PMXBlog", by the same people who made PortaMX. Also, the Ultimate Profile mod would be worthwhile.
