Turn Google into a Free Web Proxy

I posted this on my Technology News blog Wonova.com and figured it may be of use to some DP members, If you find it of interest and works well for you please feel free to digg it!

A web proxy allows you to access blocked websites from school, business, govermental insitutions which otherwise block access to certain sites.

Popular sites which many education and business networks block is myspace, friendster, youtube etc.. Here is a working solution to access these sites from your restricted network using googles translation service.
Simply use the URL above and simply change the address from www.wonova.com to which ever blocked site you wish to access and your done. Simple!

    So how does it work?

We are simply using googles translation service but instead of getting the page to return in another language were using the paranthsys english translation to english translation so the text wont be effected but the request will be sent via google…

    Happy Proxy Surfing from wonova.com!

I never said it will give you annonymous surfing. Its a "proven" working solution to access blocked sites on a network with a commercial firewall.

Also It may not work with all commerical firewalls but the ones i've looked at, it works a treat!

seoindiaweb: read the post properly next time.... again I NEVER once state it will provide annonymous surfing. I should give you some red for being a moron but i'm in a good mood.
