Police on Tuesday detained a man who tried to hijack a plane and divert it to Iran by threatening to blow it up, CNN-Turk television reported.
................Firat Keles, a passenger on board, told CNN-Turk television that the man could be seen reading the Quran during the flight. There was no panic on board, he said.

Too many people in Turkey are obsessed with the Koran.
Many muslims read the Koran before going on a holly "mission - suicide".

It's not easy for one to commit a suicide to kill others if he/she does not believe he/she goes to paradise.
    That's all.

lol that's a criminal, not an official.
Turkey is EU's chance to be a strategic pact instead of a religionic club, not like Turkey has to join or something.

Turkey most likely will be the open door to EU for those types of "criminals" (jihadists).
Once in EU, they can come much easier to US.

Considering how much of terroristic developments towards Turkey are allowed & encouraged within EU, esp. in Belgium, Holland, France, Italy and some other, I think Turkey should be more concerned about security in the EU process.

In case you do not know; Turkey has a secular govermental system since the day it was announced(1923).

I'm just wondering how long it will take AGS to cook up some conspiracy to blame Rupert Murdoch, the illuminati (whatever the hell that fairy tale is) or Cheney/Bush.

Any time a terrorist does something, AGS is the first to arrive on the scene to defend them and try to give their credit away to someone else.

It's cute when he starts screaming about the Illuminati, always puts a smile on my face. Sure as the sun comes up in the morning, AGS will use the word atleast 3 times per day...
