I was the P/O for sure, hate being on the tarmac!@

 

yeah, i had a fun time a few weeks ago...sat on the tarmac for 30 mins...went to runway, something was wrong with plane...went back to gate for 1.5 hours, then back to runway for another 30 minute wait...that sucked

 

that is the worst!
what is it about airplanes...if you're on the runway or parked @ the gate you are screwed...sucking down jet fumes! those suckers don't have a recirc on the air or what!!

 

it's ever better when you have to go back to the gate because there's 'something wrong with the plane'...that was a rather nervous departure when we finally got underway

 

that's scary. they sent you out and then were like ahh no we'd better fix that come to think of it

 

And then they bring it back and fix it up a bit in a few minutes and then they say "there, that should be good enough"

 

duct tape!

we avoided a large delay (aside from the other delay we already had). our plane struck a bird on the way landing, luckily it did not bbq in the engine! would have had to change planes and the whole bit

 

a lot of people misjudge the danger birds pose to A/C...lots of planes have crashed on take-off (usually killing everyone on board) because it hits some birds on take-off...

fun fact to know huh?

 

fun like knowing that pickle juice burns in an open cut like rubbing alcohol does!
