trying to verify my website at google.com/webmasters

i get an error from google when doing so...

my name servers for my domain are:

    NS1.MYWAHOSTING.com
    NS2.MYWAHOSTING.com

i registered my domain at Name.com and it's about 2 days old.

I can access my page via a browser (i.e. Firefox, Internet Explorer).

i am using the HTML page that Google requires you to upload to your web space in order for it to get verified.

    any troubleshooting ideas?

Though I have not seen this particular problem before, I can tell you that one time, I did a web site re-design, and was speaking with the site owner by telephone after I uploaded the new site. He was literally on the other side of town, and even when refreshing his computers, and closing IE and restarting, he still saw the previous version of the site. He had to wait till the changes propogated through and by GoDaddy.com before we could discuss his site; which was about 24 hours. Strange, I had never had that happen before, or since.

So, I suppose the same could apply to your problem. Someone else, located somewhere else, isn't seeing what you are because for some reason, the change hasn't taken place from where they are just yet.

I'm sure there is a better, more technically-correct way to explain this anomaly, but I will not claim to know exactly what the problem is being attributed to. I just know it had something to do with GoDaddy's servers, and the way (rate) they are updated...
