trying to understand Bidvertiser stats

just started Bidvertiser and got one click, and the balance is 76 cents. That one click was really that much? (It's a real estate site). Or are they counting impressions?

    5 Cent example
    Business leads for example
    exampleer.com
    Max Bid : $0.50

What are these max bids? Per click?

How can I use geo-targeting more effectively?
It's a real estate site, is there a way to attract real estate ads?

    Thanks DP

    Thanks.
"Max bid is the maximum that the advertiser is willing to pay for each click.
The real cost-per-click of each advertiser is $0.01 above the next closest competitor. BidVertiser will always display the highest bidders on your site, assuring the maximum revenue possible at any given time, while maximizing the effectiveness of our advertisers' ads."

How can clicks be that expensive? Adsense is usually 50 cents for real estate.

Did those advertisers really bid on my site, or is it just an example?
