Trying to think of a logo for my dessert bake shop business

Hey guys,

I wasn't sure where I would post this but anyway

I'm planning on opening a dessert bake shop called "Forbidden Desserts" selling cupcakes, cakes, cookies, tarts, pastries and etc ... The name is just recently registered and I'm trying to think of a logo for it, but I'm mind block to think of any more ideas.

But for sure my colour scheme is going to be red, white and black. I want it to work well for clothing on t-shirt, hats, etc, so even guys would want to wear a cool t-shirt with the logo on it .. Also on merchandises like cups, mugs or whatever

So far the ideas I thought of are ..

- A bitten apple but it similar to apple so i would probably get sue
- A female face but that is similar to starbucks lol
- tree of knowledge which is the tree that adam and eve took the forbidden apple from... but I don't want a tree.. I don't think trees are not a cool look for a logo on a shirt
- Pandora's box, but a box as a logo for a dessert shop doesn't seem to work well

Also I don't want the logo have something related to a dessert since I'm not specialized on one item. For example if I put a cupcake as a logo, then people will think it a cupcake shop only and nothing else.

Forbidden desserts.

Go with the name. Have a cupcake with sandy looking icing and a icing coated egyptian style lettering. hence the forbidden scene.

First variant will be good, and people will definetely remember you. But frankly to say I would outsource someone to make a logo, let some specialist do it for you, it won't cost much.

 

I don't want to put a dessert image like the cupcake .. it tell the public that I sell cupcakes only which I am not... but I like the egyptian idea.. maybe an egyptian symbol or something mythology related to something forbidden like pandora's box or something like that

 

Have a look of fiverr there are some great freelancers there who can come up with a series of ideas for you. Just let them know the name of your business and a colour scheme you like. Most of them will do adjustments at an aditional cost or for free until you have the exact logo that you like.
