Trying to sign up as affiliate and got this warning message...

I was just trying to sign up at a auto seller site and it flagged my S. S. number with this:

"Please correct the following issues:
A legal entity already exists with this Tax ID/Social Security Number. If you have already registered a legal entity, you can add channels to this legal entity through the Update Profile interface after you have logged in. If you have not registered and want to initiate a fraud check,..."

What does this mean? Is it a form glitch?

 

It means you're already signed up, or someone else signed up with your info. Contact the sponsor.

 

Thanks! That was actually the problem. I had signed up with their affiliate network provider before and forgot. Thanks again!
