Trying to setup phpbb -- error -- pls help! thx!

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required './../common.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /homepages/3/d252163181/htdocs/UPI/forums/adm/index.php on line 20

I finished installation then attempt to proceed.
The above shows up

 

Ensure you have uploaded all the files and kept the directory structure correct

 

This path does not even look right -

Something like "/homepages/d252163181/http_docs/forums/" should be more like it. I am going to guess that your config files is set up wrong. Compare the full path in the config file, with the path that your FTP program shows.


Most of the time the html path will look like this:

home/account name/www root/then the site index here or a forum subfolder

Did you use Fantastico in cpanel on your hosting account to install phpbb, or did you upload it and run the install script?

 

Some Files Would Be Missing , Or You Have Messed Up Permissions ..

 

upload and reinstall again

 

Re upload the fies.... Or hire someone to install it for u
