Have this world cup website that is starting to kill it and it is doing very well with traffic and getting opt ins. Wanted to see what the community thinks about me listing it for sale and it's overall value? For some reason as an established member I can not create a thread? Any ideas?
You have to weigh up your ability to earn from the site against the fact that in a fortnight it'll be dead and decide which is the most profitable. You have the stats. The reason you can't sell here is because you aren't actually "established". Check this out: Help
As Sarah just stated, you need to pick your options carefully here. You have two/three weeks at best to really capitalize on the site and earn your money, and any potential serious buyer will know this too so don't expect to price this website as you would normally price a site with traffic. If it were me personally I'd be holding it and putting plenty of ads on it and making sure the traffic is flowing as much as possible. No better time to drive more traffic than in the middle of a massive worldwide tournament.
You will struggle to sell this site, just because of the short shelf life. By the time the sale goes through and the buyer gets the site monetised the tournament will be almost over. Get as much out of it as you can over the next few weeks. Maybe you can build an email list to start another sports site ready for next season?
