Hi, I just tried to sign up with WA and got to the payment stage with Paypal. The only option that appears is "e-cheque". I think that means it takes money from my bank account instead of my paypal account. Why can't I just pay through my paypal account balance?

Is it something to do with my Country (Australia)?

    Any help appreciated!

Maybe you should try to contact PayPal. Australia is listed with pay pal as a Total Payment Solution, so I don't know why you would have a problem.

Yes, you can pay via paypal. Here is a answer to your question. You can read the rest of it at

PayPal launches local Australian service PayPal Australia announced today that it has launched its local website (www.paypal.com.au) and service designed exclusively for users in Australia. The new PayPal website will allow Australian online buyers and sellers to securely, quickly and easily send and receive payments to nearly 64 million PayPal member accounts around the world.

PayPal introduced Australian dollar payments earlier this month. The launch of a PayPal Australia website, along with the integration of PayPal on to the eBay Australia website (www.eBay.com.au) over the next few days, will make it even easier for Australian eBay members to use PayPal when buying or selling.
