I am trying to integrate Olate Download System into my Joomla site. I have installed Olate Download onto my site, as you can see here: http://www.cleancomputerhelp.com/upload/ However, I want to integrate it into my actual site so I can have different downloads on different pages. I read that to do this, I would need to create a module (would this work? How can I place a module into the body of a page?). I looked at all of Joomla extensions and didn't find any that I really liked. I came across Olate and it is pretty much ideal to what I am looking for. If possible, I'd like to be able to have information on a page, then below that a large list of downloads (in Olate format w/ ratings, download count, comments, etc.). Then on a different page, a different category of downloads, etc. This is the portion of Olate I would like on my page, and when you click on a download, it pulls up the comments box, rate, etc. while staying on the same site (not the Olate template): http://img221.imageshack.us/my.php?image=olateqw8.jpg Any help is grealy appreciated, Thanks Patrick
Actually you don't need to make a module for this. If you know basic programing you can create a php file and use this extension for Joomla: http://extensions.joomla.org/compon...sk,search/Itemid,35/searchword,jumi/cat_id,0/
