    Hi,

I had a blog set up on my site in the root directory but I've decided to change it to a Joomla site. I removed Wordpress from the CPanel set up but I'm getting the message

The installation can not be completed:

    - You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.

but I've no scripts installed now. Any ideas how to remove the problem script? Is it safe to remove the files in public_html? Do I need to delete the existing SQL databases?

Sorry, but I'm a bit of a newb at this sort of thing :D

    Are you using Fantastico.
Yes, you might have to delete all files in public_html. There is probably a fantastico file there that thinks your blog is still installed.

Just delete public_html and recreate it.
    Set 755 permissions if necessary.
