Trying to hit my 1,000 visits target

    My traffic seems to have leveled out. I want to hit the 1,000 visits a day mark, but www.swollenpickles.com seems to have got stuck around the 200-300 mark.

    Any advice on what it takes to consistently average 1,000 visits per day?

    Obviously the more you write, the more organic traffic you'll receive. Try writing two entries a day and see what happens in a month's time.

    Have you purchased any links or advertising?

    You can add a "speedlinking" post every week with a few quotes from blogs you read (which you will trackback of course)

    Write some more detailed articles with information and submit them to digg or similar sites. Also install the stumbleupon toolbar :)
