Hi I'm trying to get started with my own home based business, and recently signed up with clickbank, does anyone have any advice for me? I would really appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks!
    Ricardo

My biggest piece of advice for you would be to focus on one product and one market, and then concentrate on making your first sale.

The type of market you want to go into, is one with a lot of buyers and the best way to find that, is to promote products which are selling well in the Clickbank marketplace.

You can start searching on this forum the term "bum marketing". It helped me a lot.

I would advice you to check out the threads here and opt a product to promote.
You may find a product from clickbank marketplace as well but you would not be able to decide which product to choose, as you are a newbie. Gravity is a good way to check which product has many affiliates promoting it.
But the idea is to pick a product which really converts well, so just check out some product launch threads and see the feedback or pots of forum members. You must get a hint of the conversion rates.

cb-analytics is also helpful for picking a good product, read out the stuff here, do your own research and you will surely get some sales.
    Hope it helps.

Stay focused Ricardo, that's all I have to say. This is tough to get into, but really rewarding. The idea of not working for anyone but yourself is the best reward.

    Hi Ricardo,
if you want to start making money without spending a fortune in ppc i suggest you to build a blog (you can start with the free ones like wordpress or blogger too if you don't want to spend money in hosting and in a domain) about your chosen niche.then start writing articles about your niche and some review about some products.if you are not willing to write yourself your articles, hire a ghostwriter (take a look at the "but, sell, trade" section here).I used to add 2 or 3 articles per week for any blog and in this way i was able to generate 250/300$ per week all with free traffic from the search engine.
    this is how i started.
    bye

Learn the basics first. You will waste a huge amount of time just throwing a site up and picking a CB product to sell. That is why most newbies never get anywhere and end up giving up with IM.

One of my early mistakes was using the shotgun approach. I kept starting new sites every time I had a new idea. Only one of them is still with me today. I have changed my approach to finding keywords, then the products and then the domain.

I think Turboplanner is Correct! Once you sign up for Clickbank either build an online store and promote the best products, or the best way like he said was to pick one Clickbank Niche and stick with it!
You can find a Free Clickbank Mall Niche Site Maker Here:
    Goto:

product selection is the key on Clickbank...you want to find yourself some items which are not being promoted too heavily by other people but will still sell. I agree on the ppc thoughts, do not go in with a ppc campaign until you have worked out what products sell for you and even then if you do make sure you study your keyword list a lot. You will be paying for traffic for make sure that it is the right traffic
