I'm making a sub-domain off of one of my sites (experimenting) and trying to find a low-competitive niche that has high search results.

On the subject I'm writing about, I found a few niches that is low competition but not sure it is what you can call a heavily travelled niche. I'm using the google adwords KW tool and there is a couple niches that I'm thinking I might try - but I'll give you one of them:

First niche is low competiton (according to Advertisor Competition)...the local search is "not enough data" but the global monthly search is 320. This is using "Exact" search.

Is this worth it? I know I can dominate it...

If it isn't worth it...then maybe I can grab a couple of long tail KWs that has low competive nices and maybe make a couple pages - link them together w/ internal anchor texts. I hope I'm making sense here...

    What do you guys think?

get a free copy of market samurai (MS) by searching for the 30 day challenge on google.

Watch the how to videos for MS

and then find your niche with MS

I would recommend micro niche finder software but it isn't free for 30 days like MS.

I think that is not good idea but good at the same time. Because with non competative niche you will have 2-3 vistors and will be on the first place in the SERP
But if you are on the first place with the competaive niche I'm sure you will be sucessful and have good income

SeverPoint, he means "non-competitive" as in the number of other optimized sites he has to compete against, not the traffic that can come through high search volumes.
