Trying to Delete A Offer Post, But Can't

I am, trying to delete a content offer post in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum that I have, but I can't. I no longer want to offer this item. For some reason I can't seem to edit the post or delete it even though I am logged in. I think I can't edit it because it was posted on February 1st. Any help in how to delete this thread would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

You have 8 hours to edit/delete posts - after that, you will not be able to do anything with it ..

 

Thank you. That stinks. Is there not a way that a moderator can delete a post for you?

 

Wow, I never realized that. That really stinks too. I mean, what if you have a long running and active thread about a script that you have released. It would be nice to be able to update the OP so you could be sure to keep the info up to date.

You can use the report function (red triangle) to ask a mod to close the thread if it's out of date.
