Hello all! I registered on this forum to mainly ask two questions that have been bothering me. I have a choice between two domains. Domain #1 has two words. Domain #2 has Domain #1's two words plus a third word added to the end, like so: Domain #1:WordiestWord.net Domain #2:WordiestWordWord.com However, the first domain has a .net extention while the second has the .com one, as illustrated above. I do not know which one I should go for. They are both the same price. Onto my second question. The first word of my domain has a modified ending, for example, cutest instead of cute and prettiest instead of pretty. Should I go for the ones with the added endings, or will that detract from my traffic too much? Thanks!
Why don't you check the search numbers for both in gakt. Also check their competition and their cpc there. How long is the third word added to the dot com extension? Also what meaning does this third word create? Does it narrow down the topic considerably? These are quite a few questions to ask yourself before you take a decision to go with either one of them. It's like marrying someone, once you have done it; it's not very easy to divorce!
if WordiestWordWord makes any sense, go with 3-word .com version pay less attention to whether it matches exact search query, but rather does it look appealing to the visitor (i.e short, memorable, and somewhat related)
