    Hello,

My question is only directed to users who are native spanish speakers, or to people who know spanish at native language level.

I have a news website in english and now i will start a spanish version.
i have bought two domain names
    revistaxxxxxx.com
    and
    revistaxxxxxxS.com (plural version)
the name xxxxx is a physical thing
which domain name sounds better to you?

Would need to know what the revista domain is about to see what name fits best. Spanish is a very rich language and is hard to guess this way when a plural version is right.

    Let's exemplify:
If yours is a social magazine, you may like to buy revistasocial, which is the literal translation for it.

However if you want the plural form, it would be revistasocials, which is grammatically incorrect, as it would also be revista(singular)+sociales(plural) because the correct form is revistassociales, and be aware that here the "S" is challenging as it repeats because both words have to be pluralized, and when two consecutive "s" occur in a Spanish domain name, chances are that people omit one or use a middle dash to separate them.

I understand your concern not wanting to disclose the xxxx name to avoid someone goes ahead registering the name, but as a rule of thumb listen to this:

If you are absolutely sure to get a revista domain registered, use revistaxxxx.com for the singular, and REVISTASxxxx.com (without "s" next to the dot) for the plural, as hardly can think of any plural form in which revista (singular) matches with a plural noun afterward.
