I want to boost the Google ranking of a particular page on one of my sites. This page is basically an article on a specific subject. The article is about 800 words long. I have written a condensed version of the same article (about 200 words long). I want to put this short article somewhere on another site with a link back to the longer article on the main site. Because the short article is written specifically for SEO purposes, it's really not a very good reading for the general public. It's more like a summary of the longer article with an emphasis on the main keyword. Can someone give me recomendations on the best place to try to put the short article, together with a link to the main article? I don't have any experience with publishing articles on other sites and know almost nothing about it. Thank you
