do i need to first have a basic adobe photoshop software before i can use CS5? What I mean is that is CS5 like a stand-alone application or an upgrade?
I am a little late and all with a response, but I believe that you can either upgrade from a previous version (which they offer a slight discount, I think) or you can just buy the full version. You should check out Adobe.com for some more in-depth details.
