My website is finally gone live and I have been doing some advertising for it but I am not getting the conversion rate that I hoped for. I know its my homepage and I am revising that because people are not getting into the site to really get the full effect. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get the name out there more and also how to get better conversions let me know. My site can be viewed at www.thelotteryoflife.com and what it is is a social networking site geared for positive people who earn lottery tickets for posting something and those virtual lottery tickets are their entry into the upcoming drawing. This time is a kindle fire. What other techy products are out there that a person would like other than tablet pc? I have to decide on a new giveaway for the next drawing.

The lottery sites can do well on backpage. Have you tried posting there? As far as giveaways, try the usual: iPods. My preteen daughter would give anything for a newer iPod. Get the younger generation looking into your site, try to gear it toward them as well.

Thats a great idea. I just created my new account on backpage. Do you know anything about their affiliate marketing program? Is it a good way to generate income? Is it a bargain for them and more of a one sided relationship?

No, I don't know anything about their aff. program. I could guess it based on how many people you can sign up? I'd try their community and business section to begin with.
