Trying New Marketing Methods!

I own an article company called AP Articles. I am trying to get my site known to the general public world wide to attract client to come and use my services.

I have now just brought a Mac Book Pro and looking to try new Marketing Methods.

I am going to focus on 3 main areas which I think are going to be effective.

You Tube Marketing.
Social Networking.
Back links

I have a few ideas but I want to put them into place, but I am not sure how to start making a you tube video or set up a social network campaign.

If anyone out there has any ideas please your knowledge would be use full to me.

So you are an article writing service?

First thing to fix is your website. Wherever you promote this is the first place people will go. Go with black text on a white background, it will make the pages more readable. Two, proof read twice, then run your pages through a Grammar and spell checker, buy yourself the book Write in Style and anything by The Wizard of Ads, lastly use a thesaurus;

Native and speaking are not nouns.

Next up, if you are talking about being a content writing service, then write content that stands out. Use different fonts, use different text sizes. Write each page like it is an ode to language. Also write it as if you are trying to win a creative writing competition.

Instead of

What a total yawn, and not very original either. Why not write something like;

Then worry about marketing.

 

Pretty detailed observations. I think a lot of people offering writing services forget that people really WANT to see that they can write. I think you need to write an entertaining and compelling article and then say, "BTW, did you enjoy our article? We offer writing services... Contact us for detailed information..." BLAH BLAH BLAH

 

Promoting to social network is a good idea. When you join a social network group that are members loves to write your website is applicable for them. There are lots of people looking where they can publish their articles. Good luck for it.

 

I always recommend to focus on link building rather than on page optimization. You can only do so much and no more of on page SEO, but link popularity has no bounds. The more links you can get the more traffic you will get, plus you will increase your page ranking on the search engine result page

 

Agree with you, there are so many variables but for sure one of the most important is building links.
