Try this new method to rank for your keywords

Hi friends,

SEO has so many steps - But I was able to rank first in Google using links from my own site! Interesting? Read on....

I was going to target a high competition Keyword 'Jesus Christ Wallpaper' for a page in my Christian website. I just did these 2 steps and look, I am at the top part in SERP now for this keyword.

1. Build 10-20 (or even 30) pages with almost the same keyword with slight variations as title

2. Link to your desired landing page for this keyword, from all these pages, with the keyword as anchor text.


I am free to do this because...

YES, you dont have to beg someone for links to your site : ITS MY SITE and I have the full freedom to link (upto any limit) within my site.

Internal Linking ROCKS!!!!!! right?

Try and see, whether my method becomes useful to you too!

(ofcourse, you got to have a large website so that you get more pages to place your internal links - I have 2000+ posts in mine - )

 

10-20 pages seems ok, but still is "duplicated" content... but if you have a big site, that would kill your SERPs positions

 

Duplicated content? Who said so? My titles are unique like Jesus Christ Wallpaper - Set 01, Jesus Christ Wallpaper - Set 02, Jesus Christ Wallpaper - Set 03, etc etc and my content in all of them is also unique

And try googgling the keyword i mentioned and see where my site stands! Proof is right in front of you. I am the first buddy.

Right, it would not be treated as duplicated contents but I think it might not help your SERP a lot since features like bread crumbs are already popular used these days.

Yuup motz is rite it would be treated as a duplicated content nd the main task ov SEO is to get back links from other websites. Even though iv this isnt treated as a duplicate content what can one do with internal linking if the PR of all the pages is zero...........

 

u would have to create tons of new contnt for this method to work (i assume)

Internal link structure and choice of anchor texts is hardly a new method and not worth getting excited about.

Every little helps at the end of the day and if you build your internal links with external, it should add up to you slowly becoming number one (obviously depending on how many links you build)

 

Its good that ur ranking on top. But from the following Google command ( allintitle:jesus christ wallpaper ) there are around only 4000 web pages that are having this keyphrase in their title. Its good to use ur keywords as anchor text within your site, but by doing just its difficult to get rank, else you won't have to use ur keywords in your DP signature and this

So it could be a way of getting traffic for keywords that are not to competitive!

 

willson.andrew123 is right in a way - The keyword is not so competitive. But just remember that this method will surely reduce the number of backlinks you will ever need, to become the first for the keyword you target, even if that happens to be a highly competitive one.

Well that would obviously need a lot of content and writing. You would also need to keep the relevancy in it, to a point that it still wouldn't be noticeable that you're just spamming with "Jesus Christ Wallpaper" (OMG Christ is being used for spamming! lol). I would also have to agree that internal linking can really be powerful only if used correctly.

Its cool, but internal links is nothing new. But congrats on your SERP anyways
