Hey guys, if you post a sub page of a well respected domain, e.g. Hubpages, Squidoo etc, should you be able to rank highly within a short amount of time because of the age and PR of the main page? E.g. Does no Google sandbox apply? Anyone received good rankings very quickly... Say within days to a couple of weeks for long tail keywords?

Come again? Your answer does not make sense to my question which is can sub-pages of highly trusted domains rank highly quick, e.g. Squidoo lenses?

Trust rank should be Yahoo Directory.

well the first question you asked was not that clear as this one:rolleyes:
the ranking of the ndex page or any other inner page does not depend on the age or domains but the relevancy and how useful are they to the visitor:cool:

OK, I understand the use of content etc, however I have personally experienced the sandbox effect on some of my websites and I was just wondering whether if you publish a hubpage, or a squidoo lens or a youtube video etc, they will rank quicker because your page is on a trusted domain with a high PR? E.g. Would it gain quicker ranking, then creating a brand new site and optimising it?

first of all, yours is not the only page on these trusted domains. there are many other pages like yours. even if there aren't any, ask yourself, why would google rank my pages on these trusted domains higher? the answer is simple - your offering is either unique or adds value. yeah, but for small period of time you may rank

Well as it happens I have experience on this and yes, I agree, if you specify quite a long tail niche keyword then you can rank highly for them in a relativity short amount of time, take for example - Myspace.

Your "title" is your name, so put your selection of keyword(s) in here, and your coding should be kept clean, design a nice theme yourself (try not to use one already out there) and get people linking to your site and adding you as a friend, if the theme is nice then this happens almost instantly as people like to link to "good looking" pages on myspace it seems.

I achieved Google rank #1 for my term very quickly through MySpace, I cannot comment on other social networking sites as I've not had the experience. But I guess it's based on how much it lets you manipulate and input code into the site.

I could send you my myspace and design you one for you too if you like?
