    hey guys,

it seems that i'm letting money on the table here because i'm new and have low iTrader so i'm asking you if it's OK to offer this

i think it's only fair to do that but i don't know if is safe for me (reading about hacked accounts and all that)

    please advice,
    thank you

It is not advisable to push the domain first.
First money transaction through escrow/paypal then domain transfer :)

I would also rather take payment and then push the domain, its safer out there and i have heard a couple horror stories

yes, you should always take the money first then push domain even if you (think) you know the other guy :)

guys, i agree that pushing the domain after payment is the wise thing to do, and is also a best practice, but my problem is that nobody is willing to do business with me because of low iTrade.

i'm not advising anyone to do what i've just did, it is risky, but i've pushed my domain before receiving payment and everything worked well

i didn't know the guy but he has high iTrade

i think that is the main reason to join a community, to benefit from the knowledge of the crowd, if so many people say that a member is a trusted seller/buyer than probably is

again, i'm not advising anybody to take that kind of risk, i hope that soon i will not need to do this anymore

Well, in the end of the day, it's up to you. If you're doing low value sales like $50 or so & the member is trustworthy, you can do that if you so wish, but you are running the risk if that member had their DP account hacked.

Personally, I'd never push a domain 1st without getting payment. If you want to build up iTrader, maybe start with selling low value names. If you're selling high value names (eg. over $400+), always use Escrow.com for the protection of the buyer & seller.

I look very closely at my buyers and sellers and every case is different... I have neve had a problem yet, but always know one could be right around tghe corner... It's always best to deal with people with good trader and post counts, but the accounts being hijacked is the new problem.... Go with your gut, but be careful.
