I love this guy- truly connect with his policies.
99% of Hispanics and Mexicans are Drug Dealers.
99% of all crime done by Blacks.
99% of Muslims are Terrorists.

Trump will wall off the Mexicans, kill off the dealers, send all the Blacks back to Africa and ban all Muslims (hopefully Nuke the Mid-east).

GO TRUMP.

Should be a real hoot. Party is at Donalds new house every Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Other nights you'll need to BYO alcohol.

I've had enough of Politicians- its time for an outsider to come in and fix things. We need a fresh perspective. I have a feeling Trump gonna shake things up for the better. Just like the new Phillipino president is doing.

I can never tell if you're being sarcastic or genuine but I'm hoping like hell it's sarcasm.
The reason politicians have their own system is because it's been needed. Ignore the tv programs like West Wing, that's not the real world. What really happens is a lot of people work really hard to try to find solutions that are the best compromise for all parties.

My personal experience is not with the US and there are ways that things are done politically that look ridiculous but I'm guessing if I took a bit more time to understand them I would, at the very least, appreciate why the system has evolved to be the way it is.

I can see why someone quite different was wanted, and I can see why Clinton wasn't liked but I can't for the life of me see how Trump was the best they could do. Ultimately only a quarter of the American population actually wanted Trump and after all the publicity etc 50% of American's couldn't engage with the electoral process enough to get off their arses and vote. I find that extremely concerning.

@sarahk Can you spend less time discussing politics and more time fixing the Buy/Sell forum?

I find this extremely concerning.

It's definitely sarcasm. And also the last comment, "...just like the new Phillipino president is doing..."

That one made me LOL. Very funny.

No. I hope not.

We are discussing P & R, and need SarahK moderating here every day.

I think it's the frustration of it so frequently coming down to having to choose which one candidate is least shitty but not being that excited by either. Some people would probably rather clean out their sock drawer than go vote for someone they don't really care about.

You all need to chill. Many of you are still believing the lies, exaggerations, and hyperbole from the liberal, lamestream press that the voters saw through, this time. Even the publisher of the NY Times has now admitted that they have been not been telling the truth when it came to Trump (just like has been done, historically, for all Republican candidates since I have been following politics.) Salzburger, in an open apology to his readers this week, said that, moving forward, they will "rededicate" themselves to "honesty" in a desperate plea to stop reader cancellations. Not likely to actually happen, of course, but the truth from them would be a refreshing change and is a very telling admission by the acknowledged leader of the lamestream, liberal press.

Note that the stock market has rallied in a big way, now that the markets know that Trump's sound economic policies are going to be implemented. I hesitated to say this during the campaign, but I am now more and more convinced that we have elected the next Reagan, who was almost identically demonized by the lying press (it's a tired playbook that they re-use during election years) and who went on to lead the country (and much of the rest of the world) into an economic boom time that we had not seen in decades. He also managed to free 700 million Eastern Europeans from the yoke of Communism without firing a single shot.

Yes, the college snowflakes and hired thugs continue to throw temper tantrums on the street, but that is winding down (soon they will be back in their safe spaces with their coloring books) and simply reflects on the Democrats and their typical resorting to violence when they are about to lose power.

It is unfortunate that he have became the 45th president of the United States, but again I may be a bit biased because I am a democrat myself and I rarely have anything against Republicans but Donald Trump is setting a bad example for the Republican party in my opinion. Allowing someone who likes to bully, sexist, audism, ableism and a lot of others in the office is horrifying. He have no experience in politics, whatsoever and what I fear the most is how he will deal with our allies and our enemies which Hillary Clinton is excellent at.

Over four million of people and counting have signed a petition to electoral college electors to change their votes on December 19th because to be technically, Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton has the accurate electoral votes until December 19th and I am hoping that electors changes their mind but I doubt they will though. Here's the petition that I am referring to: https://www.change.org/p/electoral-...utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink

You are talking about sedition. You are talking about the overthrow of the American system and the will of the people.
With the modern electoral college system, it has always been theorized whether or not electors can vote any way they want. However, if electors were not to vote according to the will of their States, one thing is for certain, the votes would be eliminated and the electors jailed. This is because electors have always historically voted for their states 99.9% of the time, a federal judge would most certainly rule that electors are obligated to vote for their state. Any other verdict would result in the total elimination of the presidential election every four years - why bother?

This is why the US is a Republic.
A Democracy grants and rejects (which is what you want to do) rights.
A Republic protects rights.

To further clarify: liberals/socialists/communists/fascists (varying degrees of the same power-hungry people) are all about getting their way, no matter the method. The college snowflakes and hired thugs protesting are simply a very graphic example of what the control freaks are all about. Freedom, liberty, self-determination are anathema to these folks.

You forgot Trump is racist and xenophobic and wants to poison our air and water. Have we covered all the liberal left stereotype lies or are there more? Oh yeah: Republicans and Trump want to kill the elderly and handicapped. (Yes, liberals actually say that stuff and worse, believe it.)

And if you want to talk bullying, Barack Obama is the biggest bully of all. Look at the way he bullies money out of corporations, like he did with the big banks and gave them a "two-for-one credit" on their government shakedown settlement if they donated money to liberal left community groups that "get out the vote" for Democrats each election. Not only is that bullying, it's crooked as can be.

Or look at the way Obama bullies the Constitution and all Americans with his "executive orders" to illegally grant amnesty to illegal immigrants--which encourages more to come--and put boys who think they are girls but could never be in the girls locker room. Obama has no such power to steamroll the legislative process even if he thinks he's a king.

That was Trump's appeal. The United States founding fathers did not require a president to have political experience for a reason. And it was those very founding fathers who were distrustful of all rulers and, wisely, future career politicians.

And I'm sure each one of those 4.3 million "signatures" is legitimate and Donald Duck didn't sign it at all.

Well said Corwin, JRbiz (no long time see!) and billzo. I was just simply stating a bit of my opinion, every one of us have a different opinions of ours on both presidential candidates. Although I may be a democrat, I will have to say that I am disappoint in the protestors who protest against the idea of Donald Trump becoming the 45th president of the united states. I am aware that there are some democrats who such a such thing, but the point is that Donald Trump has a lot of "ism" and would we want a president who have a lot of ism to be in the office? Democrats has their pro and con and the same goes for the Republicans.

Although I have a problem with the media who imply that the behavior we're seeing from the protesters are all democrats and that it reflects how all of democrats are. Not every protestors that's against Donald Trump is democrat, there's tea party, republican and democrats along with independent I am sure. I am a democrat and their behavior don't reflect how I behave which this is why I was somewhat shocked to see it on television and cringed. The democratic party values is what I strongly believe in and follows but some democrats don't follow these which is a problem. Barrack Obama isn't perfect, of course and I am not going to praise him just because he's in the same party that I am in as he has some flaws in his 8 years but he did a few good things such as making sure that we have clearer air to breath for our next generations because we don't want our children to breathe through these but again at the same time he did wrong by killing the coals which have put out millions of coal miners out of job. My generations family is coal miners, my great-great-grandparents to my parents.

Nonetheless I am giving Donald Trump a chance, but after seeing what the republican have been doing is making me weary of them. For example here in Kentucky, a red state and our new governor (Matt Bevins - Rep Governor) is probably will go down as one of the worst state governor as he have single-handedly destroys all of our health insurances.

Anyway, again this is my opinion and in my earlier post I was just simply sharing what's going on with out there (petition etc etc). P.S. 99.9% time of electors goes with what they pledged in the first place? Unnecessarily. 2000 is the perfect example of that, between George W. Bush and Al Gore who forced a recount and some electors changed their votes. Look them up which is interesting to read about that time.
