True or not?

I've heard and read that now we cannot even have a border near the images placed near google, and that they must be completely removed.. I've done this to not risk ban. Is this true or not?

How will arcade sites (and other similar sites) now monetize them?

Just make sure there's a clear separation between images and ads. You'll be fine...

Am I the only one who thinks the new rules go overboard?

I heard something about getting Google to check your sites for appropriateness. First off, how do you do this? And second, how do you keep them from banning your AdSense account if they check at your request and something is not right? Will they give you a certain amount of time to fix it? I'd really like to have them check my sites, but not at the risk of losing my account. :(

Is it true that if you do something wrong with your adsense ads, google doesn't close your account right away?

Do they wait and let you waste your time and make them more money from your site, and then just before they have to pay you, they close it? I'm really curious about this. I read about it somewhere, and I'm not sure.

Is there any way of verifying that my site is still eligible for payment?

Old thread, but just ask them. It's best to do it with a page that is not live. They will check it and give you a thumbs up or down. I did this on a page setup that was laid out in such a way that most of the people discussing threads on this topic would have said it was against TOS....Google thought it was just fine :) Key: Don't use images that are just to draw attention to the ads, they won't go for that. In my case, they were necessary to the page and fit in with and were referenced by the content.
