    Well, the original emails were legit and I believe facebook now owns instagram so it would make sense their letter is like facebooks.

    TY Very much.. I replied straight away and id only registered the domains not done anything with them.. but the template being that similar i thought it may of been a scam so i will contact Instagram now..

    Yes, the email is legit. The domain is used by Mark Monitor. They send out such emails in large quantities for various companies.

    I got the same email from Instagram. So, should we shut down or they cant do anything and send this mass emails to try scare you?

    They could decide to take legal action in Argentina. I suggest you research the trademark cases there involving domains and make a decision based upon that. There is not just UDRP to consider, but also legal action in court, which has happened in Argentina.

    In the end, it's up to you what you do, but you should at least be prepared for any possible consequences.

    I am in the facebook Fans Reselling Business. I got several mails like this one just because my business grooms and people feel jealous or what and want to put my site down.
    Well I must say that facebook it self is trademark and registering Domain on this name can be expensive but i dont think this mail you got is realistic and you have to wait till some legals meet with you or any call you get.
    Your domain contains face-book so i dont think thats considerable well best of luck hope to get positive results in the end.
