I think its funny when homosexuals defend Islamists -- because they worry that George Bush doesn't like gays. They appear to be completely unaware that homosexuality is a capital offense under Islamic law. This is similar to the feminists who defend the Islamists, because they are just so used to knee-jerk opposition to anything done by the Republican party. They don't seem to have any feelings for their oppressed sisters in the Islamic world, nor any concern for their daughters and granddaughters if Western Civilization fails to successfully defend itself against Islamic domination.
Anyone been following the story in Afghanistan about Abdul Rahman? Apparently the "real" islam is showing it's true colors and not doing a good job of masking them: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060322/ap_on_re_as/afghan_christian_convert Apparently islam is not as tolerant as it claims. Who would have thought?
Osama bin Laden and Adolf Hitler are brothers in arms. Are there any queers in Afghanistan tonight? Get them up against the wall! Get them all! There's one in the spotlight, he don't look right to me, Get him up against the wall! Get them all! That one looks Jewish! And that one's a coon! Who let all of this riff-raff into the room? There's one smoking a joint, And another with spots! If I had my way, I'd have all of you shot!
LORDOOOOOO.... Messenger of PEACEEEE.... Would you like to explain this please? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060322/...istian_convert
Can't help but notice the results of the poll thread. Despite the fact that a whole slew of people from a particular group/website signed up on the forum just to vote YES, but never participate, the results are still pretty even. Makes you wonder how many more NO's there would be had it not been skewered.
Actually, the reason why Afghanistan is still a tough islamic state is because that US accept the will of the people. US are much softer in Afganistan then Soviet was when it killed about 1 million people there. Forcing people out of islam is not the right method to create a better planet. There's a few states that not only follow their own interests but also tries to ensure stabillity in the world. Without US, it would be a mess and the and not even the moslems would like it.
If you actually feel that way, Jeremy, then you might be surprised to learn that I share that view. Good on you.
Don't know if I'd go that far. I liked the series and the movies and I think that the lessons taught are good ones. Some of the stories are amazing. I don't think you'll ever find me in a costume at one of those conventions, though. I DO think that the world would be a much better place if people and governments followed the prime directive a little more closely.
