    I think I've figured this out. At first, I just noticed the last message, and was a bit perplexed by the "true country". Just now, I went back and checked, and every one from same individual has a completely different "true country". LOL. I didn't ask, but in this case, I'm sure it's for browsing privacy and not any negative intent.

    Looks like its working for every one and not just premium members as stated earlier. It works good though and I was able to track a few guys who were lying about their location :p Thanks Shawn :D

    Because many buyers love to buy products or services from particular countries. :D And thus people not belonging to these countries lie about the country. But there are only few who do it.

    Interesting, I'm not that old in DP to know about people lying about their countries. But it's weird. If someone does not want to deal with your country then why should you bother and force him into dealing.... If you are authentic or genuinely good, people will know about you no matter which country you belong to....

    I would surely not spend time in actually faking my own country just to earn some bucks...

    Some people are so desperate to make money they will lie about where their from to give the buyer a false sense of security. People from a lot of countries won't buy from people in Indian and Indonesia, a a few others, because there are a lot of scammers from these countries and even though many people from these countries are not scammers, people don't want to take a risk so they buy from countries they feel are more trust worthy like the US, UK, AU and Canada where there are less scammers because most people from these countries like to make their money the right way not scamming or cheating.
