Truck Forum, how to make revenue?

I host a truck forum and have around 12k unique visits per day i do have adsense but i want to make more revenue, im at $10.XX in less then 11 days, is that good or bad? Any suggestions will be great.

Sell advertising to the truck industry. Banners, links, or other

 

You should create or have outsourced a digital product that would cater to trucks owners. A buyers guide ebook, a best of trucking directory ebook with links and site descriptions, or anything else along those lines and then sell it on your site.

 

There are a gazillion affiliate programs you could take advantage of by placing various ads on your forum.

Just do a search for "trucks + affiliate programs". 4x4 market is a hot one, so look into ads for various after-market supplies.

If you're going to advertise affiliate products on your forums, make sure they are REALLY high quality products and make sure you buy them and give your members and honest review.

You don't want to turn your forum into a peddling platform for some junk products.

Setting up a donation button will go a long way. Offer some sort of clever incentive for donations (ya know like the PBS telethons do)

 

Scrap the adsense, build a list and do affiliate marketing. With 12k daily visitors, you can be a very rich man.

 

Are you sure they are unqiue?

Are you sure some aren't robots???

Keep the ads up, because that is average.

But, on the other hand, if you don't have much room for different ads, replace the boring Google ads
with more appealing ones. ... Ads that don't look so damn boring.

And focus more on getting even more visitors. Obviously. 12,000 just isn't enough. If it really is that many.

 

Affiliate programs + cpm ads and Kontera work wonders.

 

If you have any 'exclusive' type content on your site, you could charge members $1-$2 per month to access the content. Maybe it could be trucker ebooks, tips, secrets, idk

What else is out there? I have try'd CJ for sometime now (2-3 Months) and havent had any revenue from them. I guess my members dont like to waste money on parts or etc since there various local shops, how about a PPP programs? Or stuff like that, i recive from 9,000-15,000 page views a day and from 800-1,100 visits per day. According to my statistics from Nov, 07 till now i have had 444,067 page views and 33,xxx are unique, how good are thos numbers?

CPA, Affiliate, etc is great, but direct Paypal payments into your account is even better. Create a product and do the other suggestions too.

 

Create products that truckers will buy and sell it to them. That will blow away your AS earnings and you will be building your own list of customers.

 

Sorry but its not 18 wheelers, its Domestics truck i.e Chevrolet Silverados, Ford's ,Dodge's... My site if for discussions of these trucks and racing. Sorry if i didnt explain myself.
