Troubles logging in

Obviously 'm logged in right now, but for the last hour or two, it would say the usual "thank you for logging in" and then redirect me to the forum and I wouldn't be logged in

After surfing a few threads as a guest, I look up and mysteriously I am logged in.

This happened a few times, and this is the first I was able to successfully post. I'm using Firefox.

 

Samething is happening to me (Opera 9.52 and IE 6). Good to know I'm not the only one having this same issue.

 

I had the same problem. It kept telling me it was re-directing me. But it would just hang. Then I logged back out and logged in again and then it worked.

 

Click the remember me box. That works 99% of the time.

 

That doesn't address or resolve this issue.

There are problems w/ a few of the servers right now.

When that happens, I usually go to a different page and I'm actually logged in (even though I was re-directed as some of you were).

No, what was provided was a work around. It doesn't address that the issue of fresh logins being in a loop until they go to a different page. To my understanding this is not supposed to happen. By merely clicking 'Remember Me' you avoid the problem and don't get to the root/cause of the issue.

 

More than not being logged in, I noticed the higher loading time and a few database errors lately.

Are there some works going on on the server?

 

Burrito, if you're told how to "get around the issue" do it. And search before complaining or reporting things. This has been addressed quite often, and we've give the same response repeatedly. We've made it very clear that Shawn is unavailable to do anything on the server-side to fix the larger issue, and we've made it very clear that there's a simple work-around that will allow you to access the forum easily in most cases.

 

Hello Moderators,

I have serious problem with the site.

Sometimes when i login, my login succesful page appears but cant go through the Private message at the top. It still appears to be empty and requires login again.

I am having this problem for some time now and i need to login atleast 10 times or more (Sometimes got fed up and leave the site) to get the private message icon on the top and thus process with normal activities.

Can you please guide me and look at the issue.
