$20 is peanuts and is only 10 quid. Refunding his money once he started whining would have saved you a lot of aggravation.

 

Putting this into context once and for all, $20 to you may be 'peanuts' but to someone in India or another Country perhaps with less than we might have this 'peanut money' equates to more than a day's salary so it's on;y right we all understand it isn't so easy for all.

As some posters said, it really is down to this individual, the circumstances surrounding it and so on...

A UK - London - based company submitted to a UK-resident's directory, what's that got to do with 'someone in India or another country'?

Furthermore, there's no need to make a racist claim referring to people from India in that manner - I know people from the UK that have no money and are living on the streets - possibly in my case out of their own faults in life - however, that is irrelevant, there's no need to single out a country as having little or no money.

Try not to insult other members in here just because they do not have the same opinion as you do. Also...what JamieG said could be a solution too, mostly when you need that money so much. So just because you have another opinion,or another reputation power,or another post count, or whatever you want DO NOT INSULT others. We are all here to debate, not to make war.
PS: I have doubts that you would refund the money in such a case !

I think this man is right. he paid on your directory becouse of the link. Anyone know that when paying an place on a private directory other than yahoo that meen an directory with rank<7 , is cleary that you can change the description but you may keep his title(link). And i think his title is Ok. So...i don't understand why don't you give this man monay back? is only an subscrition!!!

 

Thanks Hyper, I think he was just trying to pick a fight but it's not happening. My view is just as valid as any others as long as it's not made in such a way that is rude or just to increase my post count, and I didn't think mine was. I spoke to choice on yahoo earlier his account was banned for being hacked and was told he probably would never get it back hence why he started a new account

now he is banned perminantly which is stupid and wrong of DP. Not his fault he was hacked new accounts should be allowed under certain circumstances as this.

Sorry to tell you but the hacked person is always the only one responsable for his account for several reasons.

 

Phishing scams are not really hacking.

Sidejacking is starting to become a big problem.
