Godaddy System Status messages are occurrences that take place on our system. Here you will find out the status of any system services that may seem to be behaving in an unfamiliar fashion. Google & Yahoo: you may see a loss in rankings, but not see it for a week or two later. It will usually return back to normal though. I've read some people never seem to recover, but I believe this is the minority. MSN: you usually keep your ranking there, but lose your title and description in search results until your site is recached
I wouldn't panic yourself too much ... Google won't remove you instantly from their index ... we all have outages ... don't know how long you have to be down to be pulled out of the index but I know it's more than three days.
