Hi all pros and readers, We run a small ecommerce site and we're trying our first attempts in building SEO for this site. We are currently going through with all the On-Page first, and here's what we've encountered. The shopping cart we're using is Volusion and this system has so many scripts, and after implementing a few things like URL link, title, contents and breadcrumbs we found out that we might have an issue with the breadcrumbs. Using this below page as an example: http://www.online-led-store.com/emergency-vehicle-traffic-advisor-warning-lightbar-p/pszledstb0458.htm See how you can see the breadcrumbs right below the nav bar says: Home > Emergency Vehicle Warning > Traffic Advisor Arrow Lights> PSZLEDSTB0458 . These are the targeted keywords for this particular page, which is supposed to be pretty close to the starting BODY tag. BUT... when I view the actual page source, it seems like the breadcrumbs are generated by some javascript, so none of these keywords are shown on the source. I would really want to just get rid of the javascript and just type the breadcrumbs out, but that's just not how this shopping cart works, I don't have those options to add the breadcrumbs as text at that space. My question is, does this mean that this breadcrumb does not help SEO at all since it's not on the source code?? Or, if it's visible on human browsing, it actually gets crawled and indexed regardless if its in javascript in the source code. Should I go bang my head to the wall now or this is fine, don't worry?
