Trouble ranking, please review seo

Our site

has trouble ranking in Google. It uses wordpress.
Some pages are not even indexed, and the site gets few hits.

Can you see anything wrong with our code or content?

Now u have PR 2. I thing it new site. U has to wait little more time and if u can try to submit sitemap on google

I think you need to look at proper Search Engine Optimization to rank well in google. Do some keyword reasearch around your niche for which you need ranking in google. Place these keywords in title tag of your site. Also add some good description in your site which is a combination of some good keywords and page description. Also try to build some good backlinks by directory submission etc. Unless and untill you don't work on these basic SEO techniques you could not get good ranking on Google.

 

I presume you are only going for Dutch (or is it German) keywords.

 

You should use site map in your website that will solve your website index issue.

so better put orriginal content.

 

Be Patient and keep on working on back links and content, Keep on building back links with organic seo approach, That means in the beginning do not try to purchase back links for your website. Build them as naturally as possible and your ranking will boost up soon

 

You should create site map and submit to web master tools, and do bookmarking.

@chantal kandu bambi: yes indeed I see. The rest of our articles is unique though, I'll have to rewrite this one.

We have some basic seo I think. The domain has a high age so that should help. Still it won't rank well. I bought the domain about a year ago, maybe it is penilized or something? Anybody knows how to check for that?

 

If you want your pages indexed, build some backlinks. If you get some good backlinks to those pages, they will be indexed pretty soon

That would be a tough one because the subject of teh site is mortgage, top 10 is worth alot in that market
