Trouble Installing Joomla

    I have done everything, the database info is correct. You'd think even if it wasn't, it would still process the page when I click the "Next" link. Rather, it does nothing.

    Maybe you can try deleting the installation folder and upload everything one more time. Did you upload packed and then unpack it, or did you unpack on your local PC and then uploaded that way? I think the safest is to unpack first and then upload.

    Maybe you can try deleting the installation folder and upload everything one more time. Did you upload packed and then unpack it, or did you unpack on your local PC and then uploaded that way? When you upload, make sure you have everything. In particular, check that this directory is not empty and that the file mootools.js is there: [your-joomla-path]/media/system/js/mootools.js

    Is this all on your own server or is it on a hosted account? I'm sure you checked everything but it seems is a lot easier to install Joomla on a hosted account than own server because you can overlook things.

    It happened to me... I contacted the hosting team and they helped me. Do you use a free hosting server?
