I have a new site that went live about one week ago. I have some good inbound links, good keywords, but so far the site has not been indexed. Usually I just go to google and type the url into the search window and this gets the job done. This time it does not work. Any suggestions? Thanks, LLT
For the beginning it will be like this. Now ur site is 1 week old and in sand box. At least 3 month will take to come out from Sand box. Until now don't expect anything from Google consistently. after 3 months u will get some stabled position if u continue SEO work
Did you have enough contents and ensure that it is not just filled with spammy keywords that does not make sense? That's the first thing that I would look into.
did you submitted a sitemap in google webmaster tools? That helps to see the potential problems for this sites, if any
You should create a WebMaster Tools account for the site and then create a XML Sitemap. Submit it via the WMT. Also, change the home page on a weekly basis just a little to decrease the Google Index cycle.
This is not uncommon. There are so many new sites created daily that sometimes it takes up to a month to get indexed. As suggested above, sign up for a webmaster tools account with Google and submit a site map. This is the quickest way to get indexed. Also place your site in the signature line here at DP. Google loves sites that update often and DP changes all hourly.
wait, i think you did enough things to get indexed, so if it's not happening right away is because no matter what you will do is a matter of time
This is weird. I usually can get my new sites indexed in just a few days. I just wonder if this has anything to do with it.: My site is www dot tehachapi dash land dot com There is another site that is www dot tehachapiland dot com everytime I type in www dot tehachapi dash land dot com into the google search window I get www dot tehachapiland dot com ... I am just wondering if this has anything to do with it. LLT
i reccomend get lots of high traffic links, and ur site will get indexed quick (comment the new york time's blogs)
