Trouble getting decent offers for domains?

It seems like people aren't paying as much for quality domains lately. Has anyone else noticed this trend?

Just wondering if it's an effect of the bad economy...

By the way - I've mostly been using eBay. Considering signing up to Afternic ~ is it a good marketplace for domains?

Perhaps the quality of your domains is more in question than people buying? If your only goal was domainer flipping, then it probably wasn't a very good business model in the long run.

I have bought and sold plenty of domains in the past and as a business model it has served well for plenty of people, myself included. The quality of my domains is not at issue, it seems like demand has changed in the marketplace.

It only took me 8 months to get back to this thread, I had to give this some thought :)
