USA could not effectively occupy the country and install a regime that is in control. The same mistake as Vietnam. Iran has emerged as a major power in Iraq politics. The country is already in civil war and the public opinion is pushing the politicians to bring back the soldiers. Only 20% of American population still think that there is a hope to win this war.

IT HAS FAILED, the question is how many will die and how much will be the cost before they have to leave and how big of a mess will be left behind.

How has he been indifferent? Because he does not reference the number of dead every day and let out a soft whimper?

I don't mean to make light of a tragedy but look at the Fox News headline compared to the others...

I bet the troops over there are going insane after being there for so long.

When they shot dead these people, would that be before or after they were attacked by suicide murderers? Did they see someone run into the house maybe?

In Britain all hell has broken loose over the Security forces 'shoot to kill policy' on suspected suicide murderers. I have to say that I agree with the policy.

If a man has a gun, you can reason with him, as what normally wins the day is the fact that he really doesn't want to die. These fanatics who believe death to be glorious in the name of their cause, can NOT be reasoned with. The ONLY way to protect the public is with a shot to the head, as body shots or leg shots will risk setting off explosives, or allowing them to be manually triggered.

People have to realise that it is these fanatics who have placed us in this situation. No civilised society finds it acceptable to walk into someplace and just murder people, regardless of the cause.

NOTHING will convince me that terrorism is acceptable, and 6 people detonating bombs in London around people, is no different to the coalition forces occupying Iraq. Two wrongs do NOT make a right IMO.

The British public were NEVER in support of this war, so why have the public been attacked? Muslims died in those bombings in London, how can anyone justify that?

The reality of war is that you will NEVER know the truth, trust me I have a family and friends who are ex SAS, I have heard about friends dieing in circumstances that are never reported.

The one truth we can be sure of is that we do NOT get the truth!

Who's truth would we accept? The truth of soldiers who have just been subjected to a suicide attack, or the truth of people who by their own admission and testimony were sleeping when the shooting started. ? 2 Truths, both truths given by eye witnesses, but you can bet they will be different truths.

In War there is no truth.

Ali, 76, whose left leg was amputated years ago because of diabetes, died after being shot in the stomach and chest. His wife, Khamisa, 66, was shot in the back. Ali's son, Jahid, 43, was hit in the head and chest. Son Walid, 37, was burned to death after a grenade was thrown into his room, and a third son, 28-year-old Rashid, died after he was shot in the head and chest, Rsayef and Hamza said.

Also among the dead were son Walid's wife, Asma, 32, who was shot in the head, and their son Abdullah, 4, who was shot in the chest, Rsayef and Hamza said.

Walid's 8-year-old daughter, Iman, and his 6-year-old son, Abdul-Rahman, were wounded and U.S. troops took them to Baghdad for treatment. The only person who escaped unharmed was Walid's 5-month-old daughter, Asia. The three children now live with their maternal grandparents, Rsayef and Hamza said.

Rsayef said those killed in the second house were his brother Younis, 43, who was shot in the stomach and chest, the brother's wife Aida, 40, who was shot in the neck and chest while still in bed where she was recuperating from bladder surgery. Their 8-year-old son Mohammed bled to death after being shot in the right arm, Rsayef said.

Also killed were Younis's daughters, Nour, 14, who was shot in the head; Seba, 10, who was hit in the chest; Zeinab, 5, shot in the chest and stomach; and Aisha, 3, who was shot in the chest. Hoda Yassin, a visiting relative, was also killed, Rsayef and Hamza said.

Very dangerous suicide bombers, the only solution is to force all women in Iraq to have abortion. After all, why wait until children are born before killing them, let's terminate them before they are 1 year old and become a dangerous suicide bomber.

So its either that, or abort all the babies for they are born? Are those the only 2 options you can think of as well?

It would be a surprise if yo-yo made a post about his buddies, al qaida, killing children in Iraq. But that only brings silence. One day he pretends to support the troops by caring about them coming home, the next day he portrays them all as torturers, and yet another day this.

He's been giving zarqawi's credit to the US for as long as I can remember and I've called him on it for months. Yo-yo has never supported our troops and he never will. He prefers to steal his freedom off the backs of men and women better than he is. He's an anarchist.

BTW, Rob, thanks for posting that like about FOX. It's nice to see responsibility in the media for a change, rather than those who rush out to take up the cause of our enemies in their supposed quest to be "objective."

I don't pretend to be omniscient and know the perfect solution to the problem. But I do not believe that the military's answer is to gun down every family in every house they see. Do you?

who said I'm not not bothered by it. I don't think its any reason to go putting your tail between your legs and giving up though? Is that a better solution for you?

Talk about alternate reality. Are there any drugs in Canada that are considered illegal? I guess you've grown bored with the copy paste from propaganda web sites and have instead resorted to making up your own facts. I've got to give you credit for that at least. That shows real progress. Very creative sport.

People that is the problem with policies of "shoot first ask questions later". I would not be suprised if one day sooner than later those who defend these policies find themselves victims themselves.

I just came back from watching "V for Vendetta" I urge everyone to go see it, and then come back and reply to this post. Have an open mind and put your pride aside and your reason first.
