Triple XXX sites in the Coop? FYI

Got some triple X sites in my stats. I guess that means they are showing on my site somewhere. Suggestions?

Here's the links- separated so the coop won't be linking to them.

What does the coop have to do with having those sites listed in your stats?

there are a lot of spammers out there that spam your site with referrals so they show up in your stats. Either the site owner clicks on the links from their stats page, or the SE's see the links if the stats page is inadvertantly indexed.

people who check stats, do click on all referrals, checking where traffic came from, and here comes the idea of refer spam :)

And many stats pages are also spidered and indexed by search engines, and that gives the referrer spammers free links as well.. :(

That's referrer spam... nothing to do with the co-op.

ok, i see. Sorry, I just never seen them before, and I wish I wouldn't ever see them again. But it wouldn't make since for them to have a link to my site from their's would it? So it must be referral spam.

Use a htaccess file to stop referrer spam , i was just reading about it on other site and that i thought about it that someone here on the forum had a question about it. The list is updated once a while.

This guy mentioned as well on his website that he had tried other ways to stop the referrer spam but failed to stop it. Other ways like :

    Server redirects to local files
    security hole patched by Microsoft
    Server redirects to javascript functions
code not in page, so not executable
Bogus urls which would close the image tag
the contents of the image tag are processed as an image, not text
    XML in Photoshop 7 JPEGs
    apparently patched by Microsoft
