Triond.com AdSense reports are alarming HELP

I started publishing articles on Triond.com about 4 years ago before I really got into making money online. I joined AdSense about 3 years ago and have really worked hard to build up my monthly income. Recently Triond added AdSense revenue sharing to its very poor paying site. Until then, the most it paid was about $4-6 per 1,000 reads. The first full month things went very well (relatively for Triond) and my income from it more than doubled. This month - the amount I earn from reads has dropped by 66% and the AdSense has fallen too. The click through rate is less than 0.5% on about 200 reads per day and very low click value.

I was browsing a few articles on it today and there's been a rash of people having their AdSense accounts stopped.

I haven't been stopped. It seems the people who are being stopped are big on the community aspect of the site - I'm not one of those. They are complaining that people must be clicking their ads maliciously.

Because I make so little from the site - which is one of those dog's dinners crammed with adverts from all over the place - I want to stop my AdSense account with them - better safe than sorry. How do I go about doing that? Also, do you think that those who have been suspended are actually guilty of getting their friends to click?

What would you do in this situation?

    Why risk your account?

Perfect example is the second reply placed by a clueless person. Are you going to risk your account for nothing?

How do I withdraw it from AdSense? Do I have to delete all the articles? Do you think the site will withdraw my articles from it if I request that? Should I contact Google or Triond? How do you withdraw articles from AdSense?

Also I suspect all's not right. How come the fall in payments for reads? I agreed to having Google on my pages - they said 3 ad units but now they have reduced it to 2 and added a Yahoo panel which they don't share - that could be reason behind the 66% drop... The whole thing is a nightmare...

I think the lesson learned should be not put too much efforts on other people's web properties.

Well said. The OP could have used those efforts in building his own site on which he has full control. There is always risks associated with third party sites.

Why don't you just create your own blog and pour your effort into it... why are you making other people rich?

if you had started your own website 3 or 2 years ago, you should not have any problem now..

Go, pull out your account from that website and start making your own...

Thanks for the advice but I do have my own sites and blogs - most of my traffic comes from the articles I publish. I've also written one off articles which would look out of place on my sites. Also, some sites (not Triond) pay 80% and 100% of AdSense and offer a very cost effective way of increasing AdSense income - no overheads for servers or domain names and better rankings in organic searches than my sites achieve. Apart from the triond problem - which I reckon I've sorted 9thanks to earlier replies - I reckon you lot could learn a thing or two from my business plan...

you must be always careful with the adsense revenue sharing sites. some people might be eager to raise the clicks, so they will be clicking at a higher rate, expecting other members to do the same,
i think it is better to stop your revenue sharing there. instead of losing the account

I agree and well said. I dont understand why people love to put so much working into something they have very little control over.

Then you should start a thread about it. A thread should stick to the topic set not offer the chance to preachy types who bang their drum and assert their superiority. Annoying and arrogant replies not wanted.

Do not worry about this. Continue working with Adsense instead.
