I am looking for new ways to beat google I have an idea you may not find it useful but I need your advise. Maybe you can use my idea to grab your own domain I have found a keyword lets say "good keywords" ( it is plural) allintitle:good keywords gives 1,570 results just good keywords gives 7,280,000 results and with quotes "good keywords" gives 7,280,000 results so If I buy a domain goodkeyword-s.com is there any posibility to rank in top ten allintitle:"good keyword s" gives 250 results without quotes.
You can rank in top 10 with nearly any domain name. You would get an extra boost with this domain because of your backlinks would be relevant since they all have your keywords in them. I personally don't like how the -s looks and some visitors may think it looks spammy. It may be better to just append another actual word...now, here, online, hub, zone, portal, etc.
how about good-keywords.com or mygoodkeywords.com or goodkeywords1.com there are lost of other choices out there that would be/look much better than goodkeyword-s.com
I know that mygoodkeywords.com is great but I want to get good ranking for "good keywords" and goodkeywords.com is taken so i want to trick by buying a domain goodkeyword-s.com it is just an idea i know that domain name is very important so I think i will not waste my 10 $ to test it.
the domain does not really matter to be honest. I have a few 100 # 1 rankings and few are domains with the keyword in them. Whenever there is a weakness it can be overcome with some more high quality anchor text links. So you could use badkeywords.com and rank # 1 for good keywords. Just takes a bit more effort...
goodkeyword-s.com is never going to be seen by Google as "good keywords"... The hyphen is a word separator so they will see that domain as "goodkeyword s" or "good keyword s"... The point is the "s" adds no value... and won't make it be seen as the plural "keywords". The following domains: or adding an additional word as Vamsterdam suggested such as would all be more desireable IMO than goodkeyword-s.com.
I agree, go with the good-keywords. I do think that this does make a difference. I have a number of sites that I have chosen the domain name after doing my keyword research, and using my main keyword term as the domain. It could be an illusion, as I have a number of sites without keywords in the domain name that rank well, but I seem to be able to get the ones with the keyword as the domain ranking better more quickly.
I think that the keywords within the domain make a difference. You can also find a very recent video on line by Matt Cutts who made the statement that this method does "help a bit".
I do think that it is not a good idea to use -s in the end. As far as i know this domain name goodkeyword-s will only help for the keyword "good keyword" and not for the keyword "good keywords" because google will consider the s as another word.
